Organ for the Senses is a contemporary music concert designed to not only hear, but to feel and see the vibrations of the Spreckels Organ.
Three regional and nationally renowned contemporary musicians will create works for the world’s second largest pipe organ. Each 10 minute composition is shaped around the physical properties of the organ itself. Vibrationally driven instead of melodically driven explorations take the stage.
During the concert, live projected visualizations will allow goers to "see" the sound- by live projecting a seismograph registering the physical vibrations of the audio.
