Admission is free for all thanks to a grant from the Legler Benbough Foundation.

Donations at the door are an option and greatly valued.

ACCESSIBILITY

SDAI is ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible.

Handicapped parking is available in the Alcazar Parking Lot located behind our building, The House of Charm.

PARKING

Nearby parking can be found in the Alcazar and Organ Pavilion lots in Balboa Park. Handicapped parking is available in both lots.

Valet service at the Prado is available Tuesday - Friday between 5 P.M. and 11 P.M., Saturday - Sunday between 10 P.M. and 11 P.M.

DIRECTIONS

(PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION)

Bus - Take the Number 7 Bus towards 69th & University and get off at Park Bl & Village Pl. The San Diego Art Institute is approximately a 6 minute walk from the Bus stop.

Trolley - Take the Trolley to City College Trolley Station. From there you can take the Number 7 Bus and follow the directions above.

DIRECTIONS

(DRIVING)

From I-5 N, take Laurel Street exit and continue onto Laurel Street (East) until it turns into El Prado. Cross the bridge into Balboa Park.

From I-5 S, take 6th Avenue exit and turn right. Turn right onto El Prado. Cross the bridge into Balboa Park.

SDAI is located on the right hand side in the House Of Charm, past the Museum of Man and Alcazar Garden.
