BC to BC features ceramic sculptures by 34 of the West Coast’s most innovative contemporary artists from Baja California to British Columbia - on view through October 20, 2017. From traditional pit fired pottery to riotously-colored satirical objects, it’s all part of what’s happening at-this-moment in handmade ceramics created by artists along the North American West Coast. In a show featuring work that is figurative/abstract, whimsical/sensible, miniature/monumental, straightforward/ironic, and utilitarian/decorative, what’s common among every piece is time and clay.
