SDAI presents Best in Show: a multimedia exhibition devoted to the feline (and canine) purr-suasions. The exhibition is juried by Jason Eppink; curator of Digital Media at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. The opening will feature the musical stylings of everybody’s favorite feline-inspired band: Lion Cut!

Selected artists include: Ali Silverstein, Bonnie Woods, Brandon Barr, Brian Benfer, Brian Leo, Cahill Wessell, Celia Gold & Cindy Santos Bravo & Nat De Jesus, Ken Goldman, Christian Michaels, Christopher Ulivo, Dan Adams, Daria Van Nice, Diego Leon, Donna Hixson, Drew Mandinach, Irene de Watteville, Jason Farai Gibb & Matt and Chris Forderer, Jon-Loren Bazan, Katarzyna Lappin, Kris Moore, Larry Caveney, Lisa Hutton, Lissa Corona, Lucy Sparks, Max Daily, Moya Devine, Nathan Ritterpusch, Pamela Jaeger, Paul Koudounaris, Sandra Vista, Therese Cipiti Herron, and Wick Alexander.

Coinciding with this exhibition will be a Pet Portrait and Adoption event, February 20, 2016; Ship Cats: Adventure! Courage! Betrayal!, a lecture by Los Angeles author and photographer Dr. Paul Koudounaris on February 25, 2016; and a Cat Fashion Show on February 27, 2016.

10% of proceeds from Best in Show will be donated to Four Paws Animal Rescue. We hope you will join us for what are sure to be some of the greatest meowments of our lives.
