Watching a live football match, baseball game, or concert on different devices doesn’t always produce the same viewing experience. It’s common for someone watching on TV to react to a goal or a winning moment several seconds before another person watching through a mobile streaming app.

Finally, if your streaming service offers a low-latency option, test it before the event begins to see whether the reduced delay is worth the possible trade-off in playback stability.

Broadcast Delay Will Continue to Improve

If real-time reactions are most important, a traditional TV broadcast will usually provide the closest experience to live. If flexibility and convenience matter more, streaming remains an excellent option despite the small delay.
